An alternative is not automatically a repair tile

BMI names Frankfurter as the alternative, but its different profile does not interlock one-for-one with Neroma. Inserting a Frankfurter among old Neroma tiles is therefore not a justified repair choice. Following inspection, consider matching reclaimed material, replacing a defined slope or renewing the complete covering.

What helps identify the existing tile?

During a safely arranged inspection, record the face, underside, marks and interlocks. Measure an existing row and the batten gauge; a loose tile’s outside dimensions alone are insufficient. Reclaimed tiles need checks for cracks, damaged hanging nibs and a sound fit. This page does not advertise stock of the historic model.
